Body Shop Goodies

I love the body shop, there is something about it that is so appealing to me. I just always want to buy everything in the store because their products look, feel and smell life changing. I never have any regrets about splurging on the items either, they are always worth it. My recent purchase included:-

Vitamin E, Hydrating Toner

I’ll admit I don’t use a toner anymore, I’ve read countless beauty articles about the importance of toning but I just never do it because I never see results and I don’t see why I should waste my time (and money) on something that yields no results. Nevertheless I bought one (blame it on the body shop), It is alcohol free and is a little thicker than most toners that I’ve used before. What I like about it is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry, and like all toners, it’s good for removing excess make up. But I still haven’t noticed any visible results, and even I do, I wouldn’t be able to tell wether it’s because of the toner, cleanser or moisturiser. ┬áChanges could also be the results of my increased intake of H2O.

Tea Tree, Squeaky Clean Scrub

I love this, It doesn’t smell so good though (smells a little like herbs) but I love it and I could get used to the smell. It is infused with tea tree oil from the foothills of mount Kenya, and everybody knows I love Kenya. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and honestly I’m always looking forward to washing my face now.

Vitamin E, Cream Exfoliator

My skin is very sensitive and gets dry very easily so sometimes I have to use a moisturizer instead of soap to wash my face. This cream exfoliator cleanses my skin without irritating it and stripping of its natural oils, leaving it smooth and soft.

The body shop recently launched its Drops of Light range, which helps to brighten your skin and even out your skin tone. I look forward to trying it.
