About Me

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”  Marianne Williamson

I am Mmathabo Motha, a Quantity Surveying graduate and Bcom Economics student from Pretoria, South Africa. I have a passion for business and for Africa. I’m fascinated by our cultures, our sense of identity and our resilience. I love learning about our economic developments, about how far we’ve come, the tremendous obstacles we overcame and I take pride in how we have not been defeated and instead continue to grow.

Therefore Black Tableau is dedicated to exploring African development, businesses and economies. The focus is more on Southern African countries but includes Nigeria and of course Kenya.

Business aside, the blog also includes lifestyle elements such as art, leisure and of course my undying love for wine and whiskey.
